Departed St. Mary, Missouri last night at 8:00 PM CST to drop our load of Charmin bath tissue from Procter & Gamble in Green Bay at a P&G DC in Neelys Landing, Missouri at 9:00 PM. Pulled a load of Luvs disposable diapers from this P&G DC for unload at a Family Dollar DC near Morehead, Kentucky this evening at 5:00 PM EST. After driving all night, we stopped for fuel - then shut down - in Mount Sterling, Kentucky. By the time my mandatory 10-hour DOT break is complete, we'll have just 10 minutes to spare for on-time delivery at Family Dollar twenty miles east. Thank God we encountered clean, dry roads and light traffic - as well as equipment in working order - otherwise we wouldn't have had a chance to be on time with this load.
